Ciccioli

This is the name by which these pressed cakes of fatty pork are known in the Emilia Romagna region. According to Wikipedia, they are known as cicoli in Naples, sfrizzoli in Lazio and Umbria, and risimugli in Calabria.

In Great Britain, pork scratchings are particularly associated with the Black Country – an area of the English Midlands, traditionally known for its heavy industry.
